HOW YOU CAN HELP
We appreciate your prayers and your prayerful participation. We welcome your time, talent and treasure, in any capacity, to help us continue to move forward to make St. John’s Hermitage a reality.

If you are handy and like working outdoors, moving wood and stones, clearing land, operating construction equipment, getting dirty and having fun working toward a goal together, we’d love to have your assistance. Organizations are more than welcome to assist us.
If you have other skills and gifts, such as: parish communication, public relations, fundraising, non-profit planning, construction, landscaping experience or business ownership, we value your experience and input.

PROJECT STATUS
-
The building site has been cleared and a road to the site has been established.
-
Architectural plans have been created to keep with the natural flow of the land.
-
In an effort to be good stewards, natural materials available on the land, such as stone, wood and plantings, will be used as much as possible.
-
The chapel will be built on a cleared ridge and will be the first phase of the building project.
-
Four miles of trails have been cleared and are maintained for visitors and supporters to see the beauty of the land and the possibilities for private reflection and prayer in nature and also for recreation such as hiking, camping, mountain biking, four-wheeling and horseback riding.
